"Gas" is a state of matter, any element has a gas phase if you heat it. However at STP (room temperature) there are 11 gaseous elements in the Periodic Table.
====================
• hydrogen (H)
• nitrogen (N)
• oxygen (O)
=================== The halides
• fluorine (F)
• chlorine (Cl)
===================The Noble Gasses
• helium (He)
• neon (Ne)
• argon (Ar)
• xenon (Xe)
• radon (Rn)
• krypton (Kr)
On the right top corner of the periodic table.
Most of the non metals are in gaseous state and are placed on the right in the periodic table.
In the right part of the periodic table.
A solid could be ice, and most metals like iron which are found in columns three through twelve on the periodic table. Some gases include hydrogen, oxygen, nitrogen, and carbon. Gases can be found on the last two columns to the right on the periodic table (columns 17 and 18).
Nonmetals are placed in the right side of the periodic table.
The most stable elements are found in the Noble Gases, in group 8 or group 0. The most UNstable elements are found in the alkali metals.
The transition metals are the most common, and are found in the middle (groups 3-12) of the periodic table.
The most reactive metals will be found in Group 1 on the right side of the periodic table.
Noble gases are found in the 18th group in the periodic table.
no - gases are few in number - metals make up most of the periodic table
The most unreactive elements, called the noble gases, are found in the group 8 of the period table.
Most non-metals are found on the right side of the periodic table. On the extreme right however the last column is of noble gases. So we could say non-metals are positioned between metals and noble gases.
Fluorine is the most electro negative element on the periodic table
group 18, the right most group on the periodic table
A solid could be ice, and most metals like iron which are found in columns three through twelve on the periodic table. Some gases include hydrogen, oxygen, nitrogen, and carbon. Gases can be found on the last two columns to the right on the periodic table (columns 17 and 18).
Noble Gases
group 18, the right most group on the periodic table
There are 6 noble gases in periodic table. The common one is helium.
The transition metals are the most common, and are found in the middle (groups 3-12) of the Periodic Table.
The noble gases, column 18 in the most common modern periodic table.
