The fish has a bowel/stomach problem. Try adding 1level tsp of magnesium sulphate per gal of water to the tank. The fish should get better over a few days. Also improve its diet by using a better quality food. Also do more water changes.
Those are the indication of a very sick goldfish. The margins of the fins have receded and have exposed the cartilage that stiffens the fins. It is like asking what are those bones coming out of your hand...they used to be fingers until the skin rotted off.
how can i treat it then? :'(
The condition may likely be caused by a fungal infection. There are drops you can buy at the pet shop that you can put in the water that can bring a fish back around. Some people recommend putting a sick fish into salt water for treatment. I cannot say I have ever tried this so I don't know how much salt or what mix of salt to put in the water for goldfish.
You might want to see how the fish responds to a complete water change-out and a thorough cleaning of the container and gravel. Instead of refilling with tap water, use distilled water. It is a bit expensive but, if the fish improves, you might have found the problem. If you don't want to pay for distilled water, you could collect rainwater...that will work just as well.
thank you so much. they are gone now but i will try it.
this has happened to my fish the string is the fishes number two your fish will be ok but if the strand is not coming out of your fish it means its having tummy problems your probebly feeding it to much otherwise make sure its bowl is really clean
waste
That is the fishes droppings from the bottom.
The fish is pooping.
There's a little string looking thing coming from under it. If you have other fish they might eat it while it's pooping
not sure the exact term of what its called, but it means your fish is about to give birth.
If this is a white string dragging below the fishes tummy then it is poo (fecal matter). The fish could have constipation. Look to its diet and water quality fix whatever is wrong and the problem will go away. Remember Guppies are omnivourous, like their water around 70F. neutral pH and normal Gh and Kh.
Yes, it is a white meat fish.
Goldfish are egglaying fish, so you would see several small white dots coming from her backend.
i think it has to do with what they eat
wood and string
because the fish is the color whtie and the fish is a fish so it si a white fish
looks like a string that is brown because i saw it from my pet fish
you don't do anything, the fish is dead. if it was a female, they're most likely just her eggs. totally normal. it's possible it was a parasite or something though.
