Taken directly from the Auburn site:
"Exactly what ACT or SAT score and grade point average will it take to earn freshman admission?
The answer will depend on the number and quality of students who apply this year. It also depends on our evaluation of each applicant's credentials. Plus, we have to take into account the limited number of places in the Freshman Class of ____. Competition for these spaces will ultimately set the standards."
The average high school GPA to get into Auburn is currently 3.69; however, Auburn admits students with lower GPAs if they have offsetting factors, like higher ACT or SAT scores. There are no fixed requirements, but the school is selective.

Depends.
If you play football you should be able to at least sign your name or, if possessed of extreme athletic ability, be able make squiggles on papers without drawing smiley faces and get your shirt on right way round and not inside out in less than 3 - 5 tries. Of course if you can do it in 5 tries, the coach or a teammate will help you and that will count has your fifth try.
If you don't play football and actually intend on EARNING, you'll need a GPA of at least 1.0 apparently. Any lower than that, you will need to play one sport or another with great athletic ability or the UGA fans will make fun of you for being dumb... (Usually by posting notes on your door with lots of squiggle marks with smiley faces with tongues out to show that it's meant for insult).
If you are a die hard UGA fan there are no GPA requirements. Just don't lick the windows and wear a helmet if you tend to bang your head on the wall. (You can get one from the football team when you enroll if needed).
Hope that helps.

Most students that get accepted into NYU have a GPA of at least 3.4. A GPA of 3.6 gives students a higher chance of getting into this university. The average SAT score for these students was about 1700.
I believe on a 4.0 scale the lowest GPA you can have is a 2.5
