Right atrium-receives o2 poor blood
Left atrium- receives o2- rich blood
Right ventricles- sends o2- poor to lung
Left ventricle-sends o2- rich blood to body
by the way i got all the info from my science teacher
The atria are the two upper chambers of the heart. They serve mainly as collection for blood before it flows in the ventricles. The ventricles are the two lower chambers of the heart. The right ventricle pumps deoxygenated blood to the lungs and the left ventricle pumps oxygenated blood out to the body.
The atrium and ventricles don't DO anything, they're just chambers in the heart. The heart is made up of four chambers - the right atria, the right ventricle, the left atria, and the left ventricle. Blood passes through these four chambers and then is pumped out to wherever it needs to go.
Atrium: is the chamber in the heart designed to receive the blood from the body tissues.
Ventricle: where the atrium empties into; Muscular chamber designed to pump the blood forward through the arteries.
The ventricles pump blood to the rest of the body, beyond the heart, in contrast to the atria, which collect blood from the body to feel into the ventricles.
science is a fail
right and left atrium. they collect and hold blood before sending them into the ventricles where they are pumped to all parts of the body.right and left atrium. they collect and hold blood before sending them into the ventricles where they are pumped away from the heart.right and left atrium. they collect and hold blood before sending them into the ventricles where they are pumped to all parts of the body.
The four chambers are; Left atrium Right atrium Left Ventricle Right Ventricle The two upper chambers are called atria (singular: atrium) and the two lower chambers are called ventricles. There are four chambers of the heart - the right atrium, left atrium, right ventricle and left ventricle.
If I am not wrong the lower two chambers of the heart are called as ventricles i.e. left ventricle and right ventricle while the upper two chambers of the heart are called as atria( plural of atrium) i.e. left atrium and right atrium.
If blood goes back from the atrium to the lungs, it can cause breathing problems. It also strains the muscles of the atrium and the ventricles.
4 chambers, the Left and right Atrium which are on the top and the left and right ventricals which are on the bottom
the ventricles
bundle branches
atriums and ventricles are apart of the four parts of your heart ventricles are on the bottom and atrium's are on the top hope this helped =D
right and left atrium. they collect and hold blood before sending them into the ventricles where they are pumped to all parts of the body.right and left atrium. they collect and hold blood before sending them into the ventricles where they are pumped away from the heart.right and left atrium. they collect and hold blood before sending them into the ventricles where they are pumped to all parts of the body.
The right atrium and left atrium (plural atria) are the upper chambers of the heart. They are superior to the right and left ventricles, respectively.
ventricles
The four chambers are; Left atrium Right atrium Left Ventricle Right Ventricle The two upper chambers are called atria (singular: atrium) and the two lower chambers are called ventricles. There are four chambers of the heart - the right atrium, left atrium, right ventricle and left ventricle.
They are the atria (atrium singular). There are two. They are above the ventricles, and are smaller. Their job is to pump the blood to the ventricles. There is a left and a right atrium, and each pumps to their same-side ventricle. The term "auricle" was previously applied to an atrium, but now is used to identify a specific section of the chamber.
If I am not wrong the lower two chambers of the heart are called as ventricles i.e. left ventricle and right ventricle while the upper two chambers of the heart are called as atria( plural of atrium) i.e. left atrium and right atrium.
The two atria (right atrium and left atrium) of the heart travel (force blood) to the ventricles (right ventricle and left ventricle), respectively.
An atrium. There is a left atrium and a right, just like the ventricles.
