Harry Potter is About a Boy who's parents died when he was just 1 years old. His parents got killed by an evil wizard named Voldemort. He tried to use the killing curse on Harry but it back-fired and it killed Voldemort, but not entirely, and all was left on Harry was a lightning shaped scar on his forehead. Since then, he was living with his aunt and uncles house. On his eleventh birthday, a half-giant named Hagridcame to their house and told Harry he was a wizard. For the next 7 years, Harry went to a wizard school called Hogwarts and he made friends with two people, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger. For years he has been on different adventures trying to fight Voldemort. These books are great for girls and boys and men and women. It's filled with magic and adventures. Personally, I think the Harry Potter series is the best series of all time!

In Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's/Philosopher's Stone, Harry learns he is a wizard after living with his magic-hating aunt and uncle for over ten years after his parents were murdered by Lord Voldemort. After being taken to Diagon Alley by Rubeus Hagrid, he meets Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger on the Hogwarts Express train. At the school, he is sorted into Gryffindor, he makes friends, takes classes, discovers a love of and talent for the wizarding sport played with broomsticks Quidditch, and makes some enemies, including Draco Malfoy and Professor Severus Snape. He and his friends discover somebody is trying to steal a sorcerer's stone after a troll incident at Halloween, and they suspect Snape. They work to thwart him and succeed, though they find out it was actually Quirinius Quirrell, who was drinking unicorn blood to keep Voldemort alive.

In Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, Harry is lonely over the summer after a house-elf, Dobby stole his correspondence with the intention of making Harry not want to return to school. Dobby upends a pudding on very important guests of the Dursleys and causes Harry to get in huge trouble. This results in Ron, Fred, and George Weasley to come rescue Harry out of his bedroom with a flying blue Ford Anglia. They drive him back to the Burrow where Harry spends the rest of the summer. On the way into the entrance to Platform 9 3/4, Harry and Ron get stuck at the barrier so decide to fly the car to Hogwarts. They crash into a Whomping Willow and get detention. Someone starts attacking students at Hogwarts, leaving a message that the Heir of Slytherin has returned. Professor Lockhart is an inept teacher. The trio try to discover the heir by brewing a Polyjuice Potion to interrogate Malfoy. The other students suspect Harry, because he can speak Parseltongue, which was discovered at a Dueling Club by Lockhart. Harry discovers Tom Riddle's diary. Then Hermione is petrified, but not before finding out information about a basilisk. When Ginny is taken into the chamber, Ron and Harry are spurred into action and go to inform Lockhart of the basilisk. Lockhart goes with them to the Chamber, which is located beneath Moaning Myrtle's bathroom. Tom Riddle had been possessing Ginny to try to kill the Muggleborn's then Harry as his new objective. Harry battles the basilisk with the help of Fawkes the phoenix and wins. He restores Ginny to health by destroying the diary with a fang. Harry gets Dobby freed from the Malfoy family by hiding the diary in a sock.

In Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, Sirius Black has escaped Azkaban. Harry runs away from home after an incident with his Aunt Marge, and encounters a black dog. He rides the Knight Bus and finds himself protected at the Leaky Cauldron by the Minister of Magic, Cornelius Fudge. A new professor, Professor Remus Lupin helps the trio on the train when Harry faints after a dementor investigation. Lupin is a great teacher and also teaches Harry how to produce a Patronus Charm to ward off dementors. Harry plays against Cedric Diggory of Hufflepuff in a Quidditch game but falls off his broom when dementors rush the field. His broom is destroyed. He is sent a new Firebolt, which McGonagall quickly confiscates after being informed by Hermione. Professor Trelawney, the Divination professor makes a prophecy about a servant returning to the Dark Lord. The trio follow Scabbers to the Whomping Willow and Ron is taken by the "Grim" which turns out to be Sirius as a dog Animagi. Lupin is revealed to be a werewolf and Snape comes, but is knocked out by three wands wielded by Harry who wants to hear the story. Scabbers is also an animagi and they discover it was he who had betrayed his parents to Voldemort. They leave with Peter Pettigrew in tow, but Lupin is transformed into a werewolf by the moon, causing Pettigrew to be able to escape. Sirius and Harry are overtaken by dementors at the lake and are just saved by an especially strong stag Patronus by somebody resembling Harry's father. Sirius is imprisoned in the castle and Dumbledore comes to talk to Harry and Hermione in the infirmary. Hermione reveals to Harry how she had been getting to all of her classes, by a Time Turner. They go back in time to when they visited Hagrid to console him about his hippogriff Buckbeak, who was sentenced to be executed for attacking Malfoy during a Care of Magical Creatures lesson which Hagrid was teaching. They manage to save both Buckbeak and Sirius, and Harry discovers that it was himself who had conjured the Patronus that saved them. Sirius goes on the run, but first gives Harry written permission to visit Hogsmeade as his godfather.

In Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, they visit the Quidditch World Cup. Death Eaters attack in the middle of the night and a Dark Mark is cast into the sky. Winky, the house elf gets fired by Barty Crouch. The Triwizard Tournament is enacted, and two other wizarding schools visit Hogwarts: Beauxbatons and Durmstrang. Viktor Krum is a part of the Durmstrang students and is chosen to compete along with Fleur Delacour, Cedric Diggory, and surprisingly, Harry. The famous ex-Auror Alastor "Mad-Eye" Moody also returns to teach at Hogwarts. He teaches the three Unforgiveable Curses. Ron is angry at Harry for getting chosen and outshining him again. Harry goes through the three tasks with help from various sources. Hermione teaches him Accio to help him against the dragon to retrieve the egg. Ron comes to his senses and makes up with Harry. Dobby helps him get gillyweed for the second task, underwater. Ron gets taken by the merpeople and Harry is the first to find the group underwater. He waits for the others, and brings Fleur's sister to the surface too. The third task is an enchanted and dangerous hedge maze and he makes it to the cup with Cedric. Krum had eliminated Fleur. At the graveyard, Cedric is killed by Wormtail (Peter Pettigrew). Harry duels with Voldemort after Wormtail resurrects him using Harry's blood, Tom Riddle Senior's bones, and his own hand. The other Death Eaters summoned and Voldemort combined could not stop Harry escaping after Priori Incantatem made Voldemort's past spells emerge from his wand. Harry makes it back to the cup Portkey and returns to the Quidditch pitch. He is taken away by Moody who is revealed to be Barty Crouch, Jr., a Death Eater who had been using Polyjuice Potion to impersonate the professor. Dumbledore gets a confession with Snape's Veritaserum, but Crouch is Kissed by Fudge's dementor before he could hear it. This is the parting of the ways, and Fudge suspects Dumbledore of wanting his job, so the whole ministry doesn't trust him.

In Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, Harry spends the summer in isolation, then is attacked by dementors. Finally members of the Order retrieve him and bring him back to Headquarters, which is Sirius's family house at 12 Grimmauld Place. Fudge and the Daily Prophet have done a smear campaign of Harry and Dumbledore to discredit them and assure the Wizarding World that their story of Voldemort's return is made-up to incite panic. Mr. Weasley takes Harry to the hearing at the Ministry and Harry is cleared of all charges with Dumbledore's help, though he remains distant with him. Harry returns to school amidst a cloud of suspicion from fellow students, including Seamus Finnigan. Dolores Umbridge is hired to fill the Defense Against the Dark Arts post as well as be the Hogwarts High Inquisitor. She makes life miserable for everybody at Hogwarts except select members of Slytherin. Harry teaches students in a secret club called Dumbledore's Army. Harry has dreams that turn out to be insights of Voldemort's mind. He has a romance with Cho Chang. Near Christmas, he sees Arthur Weasley attacked by Nagini, Voldemort's snake. He sounds the alarm and he is rescued in time. They go to visit him at St. Mungo's Hospital and meet Neville's mom and grandma in Lockhart's ward. Snape tries to teach Harry Occlumency but gives up after Harry sees his bad memories. At the end of the year, Harry sees Sirius being tortured by Voldemort in the Department of Mysteries and assembles members of the DA to go with him to save Sirius. It turns out to be a trap and Voldemort himself turns up to duel Dumbledore while members of the Order duel the Death Eaters. Bellatrix kills Sirius. Fudge sees Voldemort has returned. Dumbledore explains to a distraught Harry why he has been so distant with him all year.

In Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, Dumbledore shows Harry lots of memories pertaining to Voldemort and Horcruxes. Harry finds a potions book in Professor Slughorn's class with lots of helpful writing in it. Harry uses Felix Felicis to get an important memory from Slughorn after a funeral for Hagrid's acromantula Aragog. Dumbledore takes Harry to a cave and they recover a fake Horcrux locket, which weakens Dumbledore, because he has to drink an incapacitating potion. They escape the Inferi and return to the school. The Dark Mark lures them to the Astronomy tower. Draco Malfoy confronts Dumbledore and disarms him. Snape and other Death Eaters arrive and Snape kills Dumbledore. They run from the school and fight through the Order. Harry catches up to Snape and finds out he is the Half-Blood Prince. Harry breaks up with Ginny at Dumbledore's funeral.

In Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Harry leaves his aunt and uncle's house forever. They are officially in danger. The Order coordinates their escape but they are immediately attacked by Voldemort and the Death Eaters, resulting in Moody's death. Rufus Scrimgeour visits the Burrow on Harry's 17th birthday to give the trio some objects from Dumbledore's will, including The Tales of Beedle the Bard, a Deluminator, and Harry's first Snitch. The Sword of Gryffindor had been misplaced, so he was unable to give that to Harry. During Fleur and Bill's wedding, the Ministry falls and the trio flee when Death Eaters attack the Burrow. They go to 12 Grimmauld Place and start looking for Horcruxes. They get Slytherin's locket from Umbridge at the Ministry, but cannot return to Sirius's house. Ron gets Splinched and is in such a bad and jealous mood that he leaves. Harry and Hermione visit Godric's Hollow and encounter Nagini disguised as Bathilda Bagshot. The ensuing fight causes Harry's wand to be broken. When Ron finally is able to return with the help of the Deluminator, he and Harry follow a white doe to a pond in the Forest of Dean. He saves Harry and then destroys the Horcrux with the sword that was under the ice in the pond. They all go to visit Xenophilius Lovegood and are told the story of the three Peverell brothers, which is the deathly hallows. Voldemort is looking for the Elder Wand. They get captured by Snatchers and taken to Malfoy Manor where Bellatrix Lestrange tortures Hermione for information about the sword. Dobby helps to rescue Luna Lovegood, Griphook, and Mr. Ollivander. They return to Shell Cottage, but not before Bellatrix throws a knife at Dobby, killing him. Griphook helps them break into Gringotts Bank. They get Helga Hufflepuff's cup and escape on a dragon. Harry sees visions of Voldemort at Hogwarts and they know the next horcrux is there. They Apparate into Hogsmeade and are saved by Aberforth Dumbledore when an alarm is set off. They use a secret passage in the Hog's Head to get into the room of requirement where students are hiding. Snape learns of their presence and so does Voldemort. Death Eaters attack the school and there are many casualties. Fred Weasley, Tonks, and Remus Lupin all die. Harry sees Voldemort murder Snape and gets his memories. After looking at them in the Pensieve, he goes to the forest to meet Voldemort. Harry uses the Resurrection Stone to see his parents and family friends one last time. Voldemort kills Harry, killing the piece of himself that was inside Harry. Harry survives after talking to Dumbledore in King's Cross in his mind. They return to the school and Harry uses a distraction by Neville killing Nagini with the Sword of Gryffindor to return to the battle. The battle moves inside to the Great Hall where Harry has a last confrontation with Voldemort. He reveals the flaw in the plan, that Draco was the master of the Elder Wand, and then him. Voldemort casts a killing curse which rebounds on Harry's disarming curse, killing Voldemort. Harry, Ron, and Hermione go on to have happy families and rewarding careers.

In Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

The series pretty much leads up to the death of Voldemort. You could also say the Final Battle is the main event, or the search for the Horcruxes.~Zaara

Obviously the answer to this question is a spoiler - so beware...

*SPOILER*

Harry's middle child, Albus goes to Hogwarts - with much trepidation and pressure, as might be expected considering his father and mother are extremely famous and accomplished. He befriends Draco Malfoy's son Scorpius and they are both sorted into Slytherin. Neither of them is particularly popular. Scorpius has a crush on Rose Granger-Weasley - who is extremely popular as a Chaser for Griffindor. Eventually Albus also befriends Delphini (Delphi) Diggory - who is supposedly the niece and ward of Amos Diggory. Amos comes to Harry begging him to use a time-turner to go back and save his son Cedric but Harry refuses to meddle with time. Albus and Delphi overhear the conversation and with the help of Scorpius set out to steal a time-turner to do what Harry refused to do.

First they try to stop Cedric from reaching the Goblet in the maze, but when they return to the present, they find that they have changed the world such that Ron married Padma instead of Hermione and Rose doesn't exist. They return to the past again and instead humiliate Cedric during the trial in the lake - but upon returning to the present, Scorpius finds that Voldemort lived and is in control with Harry dead - and hence Albus doesn't exist. Snape is still alive and helps Scorpius return to stop his other self from interfering with Cedric. This time the present has somehow been restored completely when Scorpius returns - including Albus existing and Ron and Hermione being normal.

The boys confess to Professor McGonagall about their time traveling and are severely reprimanded. Scorpius conceals that he still has the time turner and together with Albus, resolves to destroy it to prevent the adults from getting it since they think it is the last existing one. Albus invites Delphi to go with them to the Owlery to do it (Albus has a crush on Delphi). Delphi turns out to have been manipulating them. She destroys their wands, takes them hostage, and forces them to travel back to the maze during the Tri-Wizard tournament where Cedric stumbles on them and frees them. Delphi uses the time turner one last time, taking Albus and Scorpius to yet another time, then destroys it, but now they are stuck somewhere in the past.

Albus and Scorpius discover that they have traveled back to 30 October 1981 - the day before Harry's parents were killed by Voldemort. Knowing that their parents have no clue where (or when) they went to, they figure out how to send a message to the future by painting a message on Harry's old baby blanket using a potion that will reveal the message at the right time in the future. When Harry and Ginny see the message show up, they travel back along with Ron, Hermione, and Draco using a superior time-turner that Draco's family had secretly held on to; the one Albus, Scorpius, and Delphi had been using was actually a defective prototype. It turns out that while Voldemort was staying at Malfoy Manor, he "got busy" with Bellatrix and produced a daughter - Delphi - who wants to know her father and be accepted by him. She plans to prevent him from killing Harry - thus preventing him from losing power and allowing his reign of terror to continue. Harry uses polyjuice potion to disguise himself as Voldemort and impersonate him in order to sidetrack Delphi. It works, she's captured and sent back to the future. Harry and Albus stand by and watch as Voldemort murders Harry's parents - to allow the timeline to be fully restored and the eventual defeat of Voldemort - and then return to the (unaltered) future.

Scorpius finally gets up the courage to ask Rose out on a date and although she turns him down it clearly shows the start of a friendship that could develop into more. Harry takes Albus to visit Cedric's grave - which Harry visits regularly to apologize for his role in Cedric's death.
