The major conflict is 'someone' stole Zeus's most precious weapon, his lighting bolt. Percy is sent on a quest with, Annabeth and Grover, to find out who stole the lightning bolt and to rutrn it.
the main problem is that Zeusbeliefs Percy stole the Master Bolt and Percy has till the and of the winter solstice to return it to Zeus before the war begins between Poseidon, Percy's father, and Zeus.
It depends what you mean. If you mean, what are some of the problems Percy has in the book the the answer would be that he gets framed by ares and becomes hated by Zeus, and luck betrays him. If you mean what are the problems with the book itself, I would have 2 say that there are none!
In the Lightning Thief, the main conflict was Zeus' missing master bolt.
In the Sea of Monsters, the main conflict was Grover going missing and almost getting married to a Cyclopes.
In the Titan's Curse, the main conflict is Annabeth and Artemis getting captured.
In the Battle of the Labyrinth, the conflict is trying to survive the labyrinth.
In the Last Olympian, the conflict is the war against Kronos.
That lord Poseidon and lord Zeus are fighting over the power of lightning that was stolen from lord Zeus. He accuses Poseidon from sending Percy to steal it. So the entire book is about Percy proving that he is innocent and protecting himself of all the monsters, gods and titans to find the lightning bolt and bring it back before it's to late
The main problem was that Luke, son of Hermes, stole the master lightning bolt from Zeus because he wanted to send the gods into a civil war. Poseidon and Zeus were already quarrling so when the bolt was stolen, Zeus blamed Percy Jackson, son of Poseidon. The gods can't steal each others source of power so they thought their children did it. So the main problem is that Percy is the main suspect of who stole the lightning bolt; no one really knows who did it; the gods are on the verge of war; and Luke is trying to restart the Titan War.
Hopefully you found this useful. Even though I didn't get right to the point, I still tried to explain some things for other questions you have.

You should try to phrase your question properly so that someone can understand it. In the unlikely case that your question is: Is Percy Jackson and the Olympians The Lightning thief a whole book?, than the answer is obviously yes. If your question is: Have you read the whole book, than my answer is "yes". Otherwise, I cannot help you.
