50 at 20 degrees celcius.

Not true.

At a temperature of 20 deg Celsius (not celcius) and at a pressure of 1 atmosphere, the density of water is 998.2071 kilograms per cubic metre = 0.998 207 1 grams per millilitre.

So the mass of 50 millilitres of pure idle, under those conditions, is 49.91 grams, NOT 50.

Pure water attains its maximum density, of 999.9720 kg/m3 at 4 degrees Celsius. At normal pressure, the density neverreaches the value 1.

### How many grams are in 960 ml?

Grams measure mass and milliliters measure volume, so it depends
on
what substance is in the milliliters. -- 960 milliliters of air
at sea level contain about 1.2 grams.
-- 960 milliliters of water contain about 960 grams.
-- 960 milliliters of gold contain about 18,340 grams.
-- 960 milliliters of empty space contain zero grams of
anything.

###### Asked in Alcoholic Beverages

### How do you convert milliliter to grams?

If the density of an alcoholic beverage is known, multiplying
the volume (in milliliters) by the density in grams per milliliter
produces the mass in grams. For water, the mass in grams will be
the same as the volume in milliliters, because the density of water
is 1 gram per milliliter. (That is, for pure water at sea level,
at 4 degrees C)

### How much is .8 grams in milliliters?

You would need to specify the material being measured, or the
density of the material, in order to convert a mass measurement
like grams into a volume measurement like milliliters.
However, for pure water at standard temperature and pressure,
one milliliter of water has a mass of one gram, by definition.
