In the Matthew 4: 1-11, it tells us to not be tempted. In general we are tempted by many things. We are tempted by food, toys, clothes, decisions, and stuff people grant us. We are tempted to accept something we desire in return for something bad to come. The devil tempted Jesus for bread, be saved from falling, and to have all kingdoms if he worshipped Satan just like we are tempted today for money, rights, or even just popularity. Popularity is a major factor of temptation because most people will do whatever it takes to become popular. Satan tempts us every day during of lives to worship him, but we see the light of Jesus and sometimes reluctantly say no. Other people can sometimes tempt us to bad things just for amusement. Satan tries very hard to tempt us in any way, shape, or form but Jesus everyday looks down on us and tells us to say. Sometimes, people say yes and have been tempted by Satan but Jesus will forgive that person in eternal life. A great example is to look at the story of Adam and Eve on how the devil tempted them to eat an apple from the tree God told them not to. This is how and why we are tempted in our everyday lives without knowing it.
