the pledge means that each citizen would be loyal to his God and to the country. it says each person would have respect for their elders and those higher forces such as police and government officials. And that everyone would be true and pure in whatever they say and in their thoughts. Also, it says that you will try your best and always persevere in everything you do and to help and collaborate with the other citizens for the success and well-being of the country
