Here is the verse in question:

וַיִּבֶן ה׳ אלוקים אֶת-הַצֵּלָע אֲשֶׁר-לָקַח מִן-הָאָדָם, לְאִשָּׁה; וַיְבִאֶהָ, אֶל-הָאָדָם׃

The actual text doesn't contain the word "made" but a literal translation would sound funny:

And the ETERNAL God built the rib which he took from the man into a woman: and he brought her to the man.

The verb used is banah (ב×?×”) which means "to build".
