The most common animals in the world are beetles. There are over 375,000 species and more of them than any other animal.
The Human because we are under mammal species and that is under the animal kingdom.

I am not sure if we could actually count rodents as the most common.

Mice are quite large in numbers but I have not seen any statistics on how many there can be of them.
