my 1995 f250 with 5.8 gas engine has 300,100 runs perfect and uses no oil and have always used full synthetic.
I have a '98 Nissan Pathfinder that has over 371000 miles on it and still running strong.
Who knows?? Most of them are still on the road. A fabulous little car!!

I had a 1988 that went 235K miles on the same engine and then I sold it--still running well. I did keep oil changes up to date and most of these miles were not freeway miles.

For a ford Id give an estimate of about 1000 miles before repairs. I did see a custom built ford frame with a chevett motor in it, to carry it the rest of the way.
