  • The typical oral (under the tongue) measurement is 36.8±0.7 °C, or 98.2±1.3 °F. but can range from 33.2--38.2 °C (92--101 °F)
  • Tympanic temperatures (in the ear) can range from 35.4--37.8 °C (96--100 °F)
  • Armpit (axillary) reading are typically 36.6 °C (97.9 °F), with a range of 35.5--37.0 °C (96--99 °F)
