No, it will not you have 1 chance. don't listen to him... he is there again because I fainted him the first and then when I was looking for price to get his number for a rematch I saw the red gyarados again. Then again the next day. I don't know if there is a pattern but he does come back

Contrary to popular belief, its actually really easy! This is how I did it. A star next to a move means its essential Make sure you have: Ampharos level 56 *Thunder *Dynamicpunch *Thunderpunch Strength Typhlosion level 53 *Flame Wheel *Earthquake Fire Blast Swift Lugia level 53 Hydro Pump *Aeroblast Surf Psychic Pidgeot level 54 Fly *Wing Attack Steel Wing Gust Gyarados level 57 *Thrash Surf Hyper Beam Hydro Pump Now for the actual strategy. He'll start out with his Pikachu, and although its level 81, its by.far his easiest Pokemon. Use Typhlosion, and use Earthquake. If he uses thunder, it won't kill you, but your earthquake will. If he uses charm, then it'll take two earthquakes, which is easy to get. Next he'll send Espeon out. Switch to Lugia, and use Aeroblast until it faints. It usually takes 2-4 depending whether or not if he uses Reflect. Next he'll use his Blastoise. Keep Lugia out, and keep using Aeroblast. When he faints, switch to Ampharos, and use.Dynamicpunch. Its a risky move because its accuracy is only 50, but if it (which if it doesn't, you won't win) hits, he'll be confused, and it does 1/3 of his HP. You only need it to hit twice, then its okay if you faint, but try to finish it with three. If you faint, send out Gyarados, and use Thrash, which will most likely finish him. Next he can either send out Charizard, or Venasaur. If you finish it with Amoharos, he'll send out Charizard and you can easily win with thunder, and by switching to gyarados if ampharos faints. If you finish it with gyarados, he'll use venasaur, so switch to Typhlosion and use Fire Blast, then he'll charge up solarbeam, so you can finish him with flame wheel. Then he'll send out Charizard. Switch to Gyarados, and use Surf repeatedly, and you'll have beaten Ash with only level 50s! Hope I helped!
