A mint condition coin is one that has never been circulated and is in the same condition, perhaps with a little discolouration, that it was when it left the mint originally.
Most coin catalogues do not have a listing for "Mint" or "Uncirculated" coins prior to the late 18th century, simply because nobody has found one that can be described as being in "mint condition".
