'Pony' is a noun, and therefore does not have an opposite. Agreed that 'pony' does not have a direct opposite, but some nouns are direct opposites, for instance 'light' and 'darkness'.
For other horses, there are opposite genders: stallion and mare, colt and filly.
There is no actual 'opposite' of horse. Like for day and night, light and darkness, brightness and dimness. But some people might tell you pony or miniature horse this is not quite true. A mini horse is just a small horse. (though there size is opposite they are not) and a pony is a whole different animal (not and opposite)
HOPE THIS HELPS :D
The opposite of horse is mare.
Horse
The opposite gender of a filly (young female horse) is a colt (young male).MareMaybe the opposite of filly is colt (a young male horse).
Horse
hippopotamus is greek for water horse.. so opposite would be a land horse? or a horse!
Le cheval means "the horse". There is no "opposite" word to it.
Probably the most opposite would be an ant. Bears are large and solitary whereas ants are very small and community animals.
well a filly is a baby girl horse and a stallion is an adult male horse
The female horse is called a Mare
The opposite of a female horse would be a male horse. A young male horse, under the age of four, is called a colt. An adult male horse, over the age of four, that has not been castrated is called a stallion or a stud. An adult male horse, over the age of four, that HAS been castrated is called a gelding.
Not sure what your asking but a stud is a male horse than can reproduce and a gelding is a male horse that cannot reproduce. A breeding female horse can be called a brood mare.
Horse is genderless. A male horse is a stallion and a female horse is a mare
