If you mean the building formerly known as the Sears Tower and now officially called the Willis Tower, in 2004 it was bought by a group of investors, including New York-based Joseph Chetrit, Joseph Moinian, Lloyd Goldman, Joseph Cayre and Jeffrey Feil, and Skokie-based American Landmark Properties.

Willis Tower. The new tenent London-based Willis Group Holdings reached an agreement with the buildings owners and the name of the tower is being changed from Sears tower to Willis Tower.

The Sears name rights expired in 2003 but the Insurance broker Willis from London leased a major portion of the tower asking in exchange the rights of the name. So as in TODAY July 16th 2009 The Tower's name will be Willis Tower
