Atoms make up matter. Inside of atoms are electrons (negitive charge), protons (positive charge), and nuetrons (no charge).
If you mean the States of Matter . . .
There are 3 main States of Matter. Solid, Liquid, & Gas.
Solid: Particles are packed closely together, and solids have a definite shape and a definite volume.
Liquid: Particles are loosely packed, have no definite shape but a definite volume.
Gas: Particles are spread out, and have no definite shape and no definite volume.
There is a 4th state of matter, Plasma, but that only occurs in very hot temperature. Like stars for example.
P.S. Lava is liquid, NOT plasma, even though it is very hot!
Pumpkins are matter.

Yes, ozone layer is part of matter. It is a pool of ozone molecules.
Yes, a proton is part of matter because it is a subatomic particle (part of an atom), and if an atom makes up matter, its proton does too. 3 Parts of Atoms: Protons + Neutrons 0 Electrons -
The smallest part of matter that still functions like matter is called an atom. The atoms make up molecules that in turn make up cells.
