The turtle's underbelly in scientific terms is called a plastron.
The dorsal carapace (top shell) and ventral plastron (bottom shell) can be found on the exterior of a turtle's body. The carapace covers the turtle's back and the plastron covers its underside, providing protection and support for the turtle's internal organs.
It could be a painted turtle. The Western Painted Turtle has no red stripes that I could see, but has a red pattern at the edge of the shell and the bottom of the shell(plastron) is pink with a large, dark design extending to the edges. Hope this helps

In the case of a yellow-bellied turtle such as a slider or cooter (as a hobbyist, I've had 2 MS yellow-bellied cooters in my life and I think they're great turtles), the plastron is in fact its yellow belly.
