The primary difference between a major and minor scale is in the positioning of the tones and semitones that make up the scale. Both scales have eight notes. In the standard harmonic minor scale, the semitones occur between the 2nd and 3rd notes of the scale, whilst in the major scale, the semitones occur between the 3rd and 4th notes, and the 7th and 8th notes.
A major scale is happy and a minor scale makes you feel sad, they can both have sharps and flats, but they always sound different, every note has a major and a minor scale but they will have a different key signature, so you could have c major which has no sharps or flats or c minor which has an e flat.
I hope this was helpful.
The one main difference is the flattened third, sixth and seventh tone of the scale. Flattened means its lowered by one half step.
For example:
A normal C major scale has C D E F G A B
While the C minor scale has C D Eb F G Ab Bb
This means in order to get a minor scale out of the major scale you just lower the third, sixth and seventh degrees of the scale by one half step.
major detail describes the main idea or it gives explanation of main idea , but minor /is has little importance /it explains the major detail
For a start, the main difference is between the more martial, joyful major sound and the more sombre melancholy minor. The fact that the first note of each key (the tonic) is the same (Eb is the same as D#) is probably the only similarity. Thereafter the flattened third and sixth note of Eb minor will distinguish it in sound to the scale of D# major. The second difference is the writing; the same notes, while sounding identical, will look different on the sheet music.
The key of G-sharp minor has 5 sharps (it's the relative to B major). G-flat minor is a key that only exists in theory, because that key signature would contain 9 flats. The limit on flats or sharps in a key is 7.
E Minor is the relative minor to G Major.
Start in C major, parallel minor is C minor, relative major is E-flat major, parallel minor is E-flat minor, enharmonic respelling is D-sharp minor (which has 6 sharps).
The major is the primary program of study, while the minor is a specialization of the students choice that should enhance the students major. The minor does not meet the credit or course requirements of major.
The biggest difference between the minor and major games is the skill level of the players. Most major league players started in the minor games. Once they are skilled enough they are drafted into the major games.

The difference between a college major and minor is that a major is the main field of study that one is interested in. A minor would be a secondary field of interest, and one can only enroll in a minor after enrolling in a major first.
They are not degrees, they are programs of study which fall under a degree type. The major is the primary field you are studying for. The minor can be taken in a number of areas to enhance your major program of study. For example, One might have a major of International Studies. To enhance their degree, they may minor in a language (Spanish, German, French etc.) The minor does not have the credit requirements that the major has.
