Flasher relay is defective.
Hey Robert= It depends on what kind of car you have but most are either in the wiring under the dash close to the steering coluimn or in the fuse panel. GoodluckJoe what is the problem if the signal ligth stay on no flasher. new bulbs
Try replacing the flasher. Inexpensive and quick/easy to do. If the turn signals will light up and only stay on, it's definitely the flasher, if not then the problem lies somewhere in the wiring, or the turn signal lever itself.
You might have a bulb that is burnt out which will cause your signal light or even tail light to stay on
Bad turn signal flasher.
Did you install the correct bulbs? Replace the flasher unit ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Yes! Flasher unit. Y-THINK-Y
check and make sure all the lights are on like if a turn signal is out in the front then the signal will stay on in the back when you turn the turn signal on.
I suspect that your turn signal switch has a problem inside it. Would have to remove the plastic covers on the steering column and unplug the turn signal switch as a quick diagnos. If your emergency flasher switch is part of the multlifunction switch, then power could be feeding across circuits. the emergency flasher switch has constant battery power.
it starts but the oil light stay on
You may have a weak or blown flasher unit.
If they turn on but don't blink, you probably need to replace the signal flasher relay.
I just got a Park Avenue with the same problem and you will not believe how it was resolved by putting a light bulb in the right rear turn signal. Hope it works for you also.
Check the light bulbs to see if the filament is intact. If not replace the bulb. If your bulbs seem to be ok, you may need a new flasher.
