If you look at your tire that's on your car it tells you waht to put into it if not ..I just put 24psi in my sunfire..
Conventional wisdom on tire inflation is to inflate to the pressure indicated on the plaque on the driver's side door jamb. The pressure shown on the tire is the MAXIMUM inflation for that tire. It's not intended to be an inflation recommendation.
The side of the driver's door on my 2002 Pontiac sunfire is a little hard to read, but I believe it says 30 PSI.
30 to 35 psi
34 psi
32
The tire pressure on a 2002 Mitsubishi Lancer should be between 30 and 35 PSI. This varies based on the size and type of tire.
30 -32 psi
28-30 psi front, 36-40 psi rear.
Psi on tire pressure stands for PSI = pounds per square inch.
It's not determined by the make and model of the car, but by the tire make and model. The maximum pressure is printed on the tire, as PSI.
front tire pressure cold =33 PSI Rear tire pressure cold = 35 PSI
28-30 psi front, 36-40 psi rear.
32 PSI is usuially enough.
