The purpose of a control variable in an experiment is to allow the experiment to come out with accurate results. It makes it a lot easier to measure the results when different things aren't affecting it.

the purpose of controlled variables is to keep the experiment accurate. without the controlled variable there would be many independent variables, a good experiment only has one independent variable. you want to have ass many controlled variables ass you can

The Purpose in an experiment is Basically your question

you have an experiment to test your thoeries, what u think is going to happen.

for example,

u think that if u shake a bottle of fizzy drink, then it will burst out when u open it,this is the prediction or theory

u then try it, this is your experiment or method

next u find out that it is right and u write down what happened and why it happened, this is your evaluation or conclusion.

A variable represents either a known or unknown thing. They use it when they need to use math. It is the easiest way to mark an unknown object or sum. When you talk about variables from an experiment; they simply are things that change in the experiment. No offense to you or anything but that question is like asking: "why do we use money?" or "why do we use the numbers we use?" it's a lame question for a midterm.

An experiment may be conducted for several reasons, including:

1. To test an hypothesis

2. To find out how something behaves

3. To measure something.

What is true controlled experiments produce valid data valid experiments produce controlled data controlled data produces valid experiments?

With controlled experiments it is taken into consideration what possible variables there could be and it is taken into account when conducting the experiment. This would mean that controlled experiments would produce more valid data.

What controlled variables in science?

The number of dependent variables in an experiment varies, but there is often more than one. experiments also have controlled variables are quantities that a scientist wants to remain constant, and he must be observe them as carefully as the dependent variables.

Why is difficult for ecologists to design controlled experiments?

it is difficult to control all variables except the one being tested

Why is it important to use a controlled experimentTHIS IS FOR APEX LEARNING?

Scientists use controlled experiments because they allow for precise control of extraneous and independent variables. This allows a cause-and-effect relationship to be established. Controlled experiments also follow a standardized step-by-step procedure.

In a properly designed experiment how many mainpulated responding and controlled variables should you have why?

In a properly designed experiment, it is important to have at least 2 controlled variables. With two variables you are able to remove one at a time and see the effect in your setup.

What is the group that experiences no changes in the independent variable?

Controlled variables are things that must be controlled and kept the same during the experiments in order to prevent them from having an impact on results.
