14.69 pounds per square inch (psi).
2,115.36 pounds per square foot.
19,038.24 pounds per square yard.
58,972,852,224 pounds per square mile.
If you want to calculate the complete gravitational force of Earth, find the area (in square miles) and multiply it by 58,972,852,224. That will give you, in pounds, the complete gravitational force of Earth.
If I remember correctly, air pushing against a falling object is that object's air resistance.
The pushing force of air is called air pressure.:)

Air Pressure
The pressure in a moving fluid which is exerted parallel to the direction of flow, caused by the inertial effects of the mass of the fluid. Also called DYNAMIC PRESSURE or VELOCITY PRESSURE. -Contributing Website Staff www.endevco.com
The top of a barometric tube is sealed leaving no place for air to escape. It works along the same principle as a drinking straw, but in reverse. In a drinking straw, the sucking motion reduces the pressure of the air inside the straw to a lower level than the air outside the straw. Liquid resists changes in volume due to pressure and is drawn up through the tube due to the air pressure exerted on the surface of the liquid outside the straw. In a barometric tube the tube is sealed at one end, trapping a finite amount of gas in the tube. The air pressure inside and outside the tube is equal, keeping the mercury suspended at a certain level. If the pressure outside is raised, more force is exerted on the surface of the mercury outside the tube than on the surface inside. This raises the level of the mercury in the tube until the pressure of the air is equalized -- there is still just as much air in the tube, but a smaller volume at a greater pressure.
Air pressure.
the pressure is high out side the plane because the air moves around quickly.
Air Pressure The force exerted by the air above is called?
The force exerted by air in all directions is called air pressure. It is caused by the collisions of air molecules with surfaces. Air pressure is exerted equally in all directions and decreases as altitude increases.
Air pressure and atmospheric pressure are the same things, just called differently. It refers to the weight of air being exerted on an object.
air
The measure of the force exerted by air molecules on a surface per unit area is air pressure.
Air pressure is exerted in all directions.
it is AIR PRESSURE
The air pressure is exerted in the direction of the air flow. But this is subjected to the Boyle's law. So Boyle's law is correct. You have add the force exerted by the speed of the air to it.
