What's the difference between a U.S. edition and international edition when you buy a college textbook?
This is the first question that I asked myself when I started my graduate class a year ago. Textbooks are notoriously expensive in this country, and the high tuition fees are not helping either. I started looking into the international edition and found that basically there was no difference except the design of the cover. Seriously, that's the only difference! The U.S. edition usually has a hard cover with a different design on it, while the international edition has a soft cover. I'm not sure if that much of the paper justifies doubling the price of a textbook when the internatonal edition can do the same job.
Students and potential students, don't be afraid to buy international edition! I have used many international editions so far and saved a lot of money. I have no answer to why the U.S. publishers want to charge students in the U.S. more money than those overseas, but I do know that you can ace the exam regardless you are using a U.S. edition or international edition!
International editions usually take longer to ship as well since they are well--international. If you need a textbook FAST, it is usually worth the extra $$$ for the local version. But as long as you leave a sufficient time maragin (8-12 days) you should be fine.
Good luck to all your classes!
*I would like to note that in most technical books the problems at the end of the chapter (usually the ones the teacher assigns for homework) have different numerical value, making it very frustrating. But just ask a buddy in the class for the real numbers and you will be fine. As the above guy mentioned DO BUY THESE BOOKS!
The theatrical version is what is shown in theaters and extended version is extra things that were not shown in theaters
The only difference between organization and organization is the fact that one is written with a z and the other with an s. Americans spell organization with a z.
The definitive edition of a book is the most authoritative version of it. You know when a book is the definitive edition because it is stated either on the cover or within the first couple of pages with the publication information.
My copy says it is one of 2000 signed first edition. It is one of the recalled version with the errors.
A good example of the difference between thou and thy can be found in the King James Version of the Bible at the beginning and end of Mark 10:19.Thou knowest the commandments, ... Honour thyfather and mother. You know the commandments, ... Honor your father and mother.

The main difference between the limited and the Eddie Bauer is that the Eddie Bauer has two-tone leather seats and the limited does not. Also, the limited has chrome roof racks, running boards and wheels (2003 up). The XLT is a cheaper version of the Explorer. It features cloth seats and downgraded features.
The cost is the only difference is price. You do need to have a student ID (the vendor will ask you for proof; ie: a photocopy or scan) to purchase an edicational version.

A student value edition textbook typically comes at a lower cost and may have some pages missing or be a paperback version. It is usually designed to be more affordable for students. In contrast, a regular textbook is the full, complete version of the book.

there are several: 1) Bully is for Ps2, while scholarship edition is for xbox 360 (glitchy), PC (extra glitchy) and wii (most stable release). 2) In Scholarship edition, there are new classes and new mission, along with multiplayer. 3) scholarship edition has enhanced graphics. Truthfully, don't buy the PC version...get wii or xbox version
