In ancient Rome, gladiator fights were typically announced with about 15 days' notice. This advance notice allowed spectators to prepare for the event and ensured that the organizers could arrange for the necessary logistics, such as recruiting gladiators and managing the venue. The events were often held in conjunction with public holidays or festivals, enhancing their significance in Roman culture.
Freedom is never given. It is won and earned.
If you mean their given names, there are very few that have come down to us. Most of the names of gladiators are remembered either by their tombstones or because of some scandal associated with them. If you mean the names of the type of gladiator, the main types were Eques, Thraex, Secutor, Retarius, Provocator, Myrmillo, Hoplomachus and the Venator.
Being a gladiator involved as much training as being a soldier. A gladiator, first swore an oath to his master, then was taught the rules. He was then trained in the fighting technique he was suited for. He was also given pointers on the techniques of other types of gladiators in order to counteract his opponent's moves.
Gladiators earned thier freedom by winning 30 battles or doing someting heroic such as risking thier own lifes for a fellow gladiator. Once they were set free they were given a wooden sword called Ridus and gave them access to everything an average roman citizen had access to.

The ancients did not have safes as we know them. They kept their money and valuables in a secure wooden box with a good lock. In an ancient Roman house such as found in Pompeii, the strongbox would be kept in the head of the household's office as it was there that the money for expenses was given out.The ancients did not have safes as we know them. There is a popular misconception regarding the gladiatorial fights. Initially, they fought to the death with slaves, but this was because they were initially brought to Rome as a funeral duty. Over time and the popularity that the gladiators enjoyed, there was very little "fighting to the death". This was because the gladiatorial schools became organized into a professional business and no businessman wanted to lose his investment. Many gladiators were slaves, or free men who willingly gave up their freedom to fight in a gladiatorial school. Some were even prisoners of war who, if they fought well, would gain their freedom. If a gladiator were the winner, he would get prize money and if he won five bouts, his freedom. If a gladiator were a loser, technically, he could be ordered to be killed, but this was rare. He was then given "missio" or a pass. All these were entered on the gladiator's record and many gladiators had these records engraved on their tombstones.
There are only 2 ways in which a Roman slave could earn freedom: They could be given their freedom by their owner or they could buy their own freedom; but they would have to pay the equivelent of their purchase price-which was impossible.
