Compassionate means to show sympathy to someone who needs it. It is when one person is able to feel and digest another person's emotion. Compassion is a rare attribute. It's almost magical the way a compassionate person can read another so well. Doctors are usually compassionate. Maybe that's why they are extraordinary in everybody's eyes because compassion is extraordinary.
