First you have to get some make up wipes or just some baby wipes. Then rub along the top of your eye and do the same on the bottom. Then remove any smudged mascara off the face in the same teqhnique just rub along where the mascara has smudged. Hope I could help!

First, remove as much eye make-up as you can in the usual way, by wiping gently over your closed eyes with a cotton pad that has had eye make-up remover product applied to it.

After that, you can go after the remaining bits between the lashes with an eyelash or eyebrow comb, again with a little make-up remover applied to it. Alternatively, you can take a cotton swab (e.g. Q-Tip) with remover on it, close one eye, press the lashes against your cheek with the swab, then "twirl" it. Repeat for other eye.

The trick, always, is to be gentle. You don't want to tug on your lashes and make them fall out prematurely. Just like the hair on your head, eyelashes naturally shed once they age enough, but you don't want to yank the newer ones out. This may not seem an issue when you are young, but when you get to be my age (late 40s) you may start to notice your lashes are not as lush as they once were, and don't grow back as fast. :-)

A word about eye make-up removers: it is best to match the remover with the "strength" of the mascara you use - e.g. if you use mascara that is totally waterproof, and thus more difficult to remove, try to find a remover product that is specifically formulated for waterproof mascara. Conversely, if you use a natural, "organic" mascara, you can use a more gentle, typically less greasy remover.
