The Mekong Giant Catfish is a part of the Shark Catfish Family.

Depending on size and species, Catfish can be microscopic and weigh less than a gramm or they can be pretty big. The biggest on record was a Mekong Giant Catfish (Pangasianodon gigas) weighing in at around 646 lbs.
Mekong river is the longest river which is crossing Cambodia from the Northern part to the Southern part. It extend its body length in the measurement of 500 kilometers.
Walking catfish are around 30 cm (a foot or so) in length and have an elongated body shape. Often covered laterally in small white spots, the body is mainly colored a gray or grayish brown. This catfish has long based dorsal and anal fins as well as several pairs of sensory barbels. The skin is scaleless but covered with mucus, which protects the fish when it is out of water.
