Hush Hush, is about a girl called Nora, who's father mysteriously died a year before the present time the book is set in. Nora is a hardworking teenage girl who's best friend is called Vee. Vee and Nora are quite the opposite, Vee is confident and flirty and loves boys, Nora, however, is quite shy and interested on getting good grades. They have a blood oath together, which means that they must never keep secrets from one another. When they are in a Biology lesson one day the teacher changes the seating plan, Vee and Nora always sit together so you can tell that they weren't to happy about it. Vee gets moved to the back of the class, and a boy called Patch gets moved next to Nora. From the start Nora can tell that he is trouble. I don't want to give to much away, so i will say that Nora and Patch get pretty close in the book, but is that a good or a bad thing? Read the book and you will find out. It is an AMAZING book!! :)

∙ 13y agoThe author herself explained that she wanted to build a sort of momentum (or excitement) so that the third book's title would be huge. The first book is called 'Hush, Hush', since that usually means that it's very quiet. The second book is called 'Crescendo', which means that it's going from quiet to loud. Becca Fitzpatrick wanted something big for the third book and was going to name it 'Tempest', but she changed the entire idea in the end after a while and decided to go downhill and name it 'Silence'.
