Where is the settings of the movie the last song?

The setting was originally going to be filmed in North Carolina but like the novel it changed to Georgia. At the beginning it was being filmed at Tybee Island, Georgia, which became the first every movie to be filmed there and most of it was filmed on the Island beach and pier.
