Queen Latifah has never stated that she is a lesbian, despite the constant rumors to the contrary. In an interview in Ebony magazine in 2007 in regards to a question about her sexuality, she said, "No comment on that at all. I'm done commenting on all that...It's ridiculous. I know me and that's all I need to know."

In an interview with People magazine in November 2007 Queen Latifah said, "My private life is my private life. Whomever I might be with, I don't feel the need to share it. I don't think I ever will." But she also says in the same interview, "I feel more comfortable with myself--my sexuality, my mentality and my viewpoint." But she looked like she was gay on the BET AWARDS 09 singing with Mary Mary "God in Me".
