What is the shape of a rainbow?
The rainbow is actually a circle. The full rainbow can be seen from an airplane.
A shape poem, or a Concrete poem, is a poem that is written in a specific shape. For example, a poem written about the sport of baseball could be written and arranged in a circular shape, as if representing a baseball. Another example would be writing a poem about a rainbow in a semi-circular or arc shape across the page to represent the rainbow's shape in the sky.
Actually it is circular but usually the sun needs to be quite low in the sky for the angle of the sunbeams hitting the raindrops to be suitable to create a rainbow visible from the ground. But, when that happens, a part of the rainbow is cut-off by the horizon and so it appears semicircular. Full circles are rare but have been seen/photographed.
Well, the episode of Rainbow Neos has already been released and there are a lot of pictures of how Rainbow Neos looks like, he has a huge ressemblamce to Rainbow Dragon with the whats on it like the wings, hands, jewels, body, etc. While it's still got the basic shape of neos like all the Elemental Hero Neos Fusions look like.
A rainbow is the result of white sunlight being split up (refracted) into it's separate colours by the denser water droplets floating in air and then reflected back towards the source (the sun) by the surface of water droplets behind. The bow shape represents the perspective from the spectator, who has to be in between the source and the cloud of droplets to see a full rainbow.
hmmm lol good question....i dont think it matters what the shape of it is....i think all it needs is rain.Ever walk across a sidewalk and see a rainbow puddle on the floor?Thats a circle :) Okay that ^ isn't a good answer... circular rainbows are possible it just depends where you are standing. If you are standing on a hill or mountain it is certainly likely the rainbow will be circular.
Making Your Own Rainbow III: Shine light from the bright flashlight or a slide projector through a central hole in a piece of white cardboard. If a water-filled flask is illuminated with the light passing through the hole (see figure) a faint rainbow will appear on the cardboard. It has the shape of a closed circle and its angular distance is about 42 degrees, with red on the outside, as in a naturally occurring rainbow…
A rainbow is an optical and meteorological phenomenon that is caused by reflection of light in water droplets. The rainbow is a circle with the anti-solar point in the middle (the shadow of your eye or the camera capturing the rainbow). The circle of the primary rainbow has a specific angular width of 42° from the anti -solar point. The rainbow is not located at a specific distance, but comes from any water droplets viewed…
Rainbow insignia on a Girl Scout means that she has completed the requirements to "bridge" from one level of Girl Scouting to the next. A rainbow is curved due to angle requirements. Light from the sun that bounces through a drop of water, comes into your eye, and appears red must bounce at a specific angle. Join two sticks together at a set angle. Place one end at a dot to represent the sun. Place the other toward your eye. The place where the sticks join, where the water drop is, can be rotated around in a circle. A…
