Bree Tanner is a newborn vampire. She is apart of the army that is created by Victoria to kill Bella. Her and the rest of the newborns do not know that they are going to be in an army. Bree is unlike the other newborn vampires. She is quiet and sits behind a couch that another newborn, Fred, sits on. Fred has a special power that repels people. He doesn't use it on Bree because she is not a threat.

The story begins with Bree and an older newborn, Diego, hunting. They are told by Riley, the leader of the newborns, that they will be burned in the sun. They go into a cave and talk about "her" (victoria) and form a club. They begin to love each other over the next few days. One night, Bree goes back to the house while Diego stays to talk to Riley. Riley comes back and Diego doesn't. Riley tells Bree that Diego is waiting for them.

They go to kill the Cullens. Bree surrenders to them, not wanting to fight.

The Volturi come. They kill Bree. The end.
