I get 11mpg with a 2000 3cylinder Yamaha SRX 700. Newer small models could probably do around 17 mpg it all depends on how big your snowmobile is, how much it weighs, and how you drive it personally, it all varys on how the driver handles it
To change the oil in a Yamaha SRX-6 park on a level area and unscrew the oil drain plug nut which will allow the oil to drain into proper receptacle. Remove the oil filter and replace the drain nut plug. Replace filter with proper model and add the correct amount of oil according to the dipstick.
I have read that the fork oil capacity of a SRX 600 is 310cc. When I drained mine I got just over 150ml per leg ?? I put 310cc in one leg and found that it stiffened it considerably..so still unsure.. but its either 155ml OR 310ml !!
