Corpse Bride (2005). I don't think it was Christmastime in Corpse Bride, though, although I only saw this movie once and I wasn't paying close attention to it. Maybe you're confusing it with Tim Burton's other stopmotion movie, The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993)?
