According to me in this story author want to tell that all of our fathers are very helffull to us. Our fathers are want his son like a genius. According to R.K. Narayan both Swami`s mother and father love Swami. But there love is not same. Mother loves Swami so that she always obay her son`s wish. But father`s love is another. He love Swami and want that Swami always go to school and learn his subjects, and do a great job as a genius. I mean difference of love. But Swami is a lazy boy. He does not understand what his father think of him. But Swami feel that his father don`t love him.
In R. K. Narayan's "The Doctor's Word," the story revolves around a doctor in a fictional town named Malgudi who gains influence and authority due to his medical skills. He becomes entangled in the lives of his patients, offering advice and direction that impact their decisions and relationships. The story explores themes of trust, power dynamics, and the complexities of human interactions.
