The Holy War was a conflict between the three major world religions, Muslims, Christians, and Jews, over ownership of the Holy city of Jerusalem. It is the Muslim belief that the prophet Muhammed ascended from the Dome of the Rock located within the city. Jews believe that the last original wall, know reffered to as the Wailing Wall, is found in the outskirts of the city. Christians belive that Jerusalem was the city where Jesus, Son of God was born. The Holy War had no true resolution and all three major religions disagree over who it's rightful owner is today.
