Nanometre, centimetre and parsec are three possible answers.
The linear length of an object can be measured in centimetres.
Please clarify what you want to measure - its length, mass, color, volume, etc.
Feet if it is a large snake or Inches if it is realtively small.
Due to their small size, you would use millimeters to measure the length of an ant.
centimeters is the best for measuring the length of a pencil. meters could be used but not as convenient. microns (1 millionth of a meter) is definitely too small.
You can measure small lengths in millimeters. Length of a pencil, pen, eraser, length and width of a paper, sheet etc. can be measured in millimeters.
Millimetre.
That depends exactly how small it is. Centimeters are for smaller things.
You can measure and express any length or distance, no matter how large or small,in terms of kilometers. But when it comes time to write the measurement down, remember it, work with it, or tell others about it, it's often more convenient ...especially when 'kilometer' results in a very small or a very large number ... to convertthe measurement to a smaller unit, such as the nanometer, or a larger unit, such asthe light year.

A Dram is not a measure of length like an inch It is a small measure of volume like a Milliliter or Fluid once
There are many units of length in order to effieciently measure small as well as large distances easily.
metres would be the best way to work out the length of a classroom as centimetres are to small and kilometres are far to large

As ACR tubing appears to be copper pipes, a tape measurer can be used to measure the length of tubing. A ruler can be used to measure the width and the bore of the pipes. If still not sure, take a small length of pipe to the supplier.
