On a 1989 Chevy Celebrity the timing is controlled by the engine control module, there is no specification or provision for adjusting the timing manually.
If your car has the 2.8V6 it has a timing chain. If your car has the 2.54 cylinder engine it has timing gears. Neither has a timing belt or the problems that come with one.
no it is fwd
Depends on what engine it has
There is no secondary fuel pump.
You need to be more specific. as in what solenoid are you looking for?
Start clockwise: firing order is 18436572
32 degrees
Move the heat control lever to the off position.
The voltage regulator is inside the alternator.
The firing order for a Chevy Celebrity V6 is: 1 2 3 4 5 6
Every typical "V" style engine has a timing chain. the Chevy cavalier z24 has a 3.1 liter FI V6 engine. so yes it has a timing chain.
If your 89 Celebrity has the 2.5L 4 cylinder engine the ignition module is mounted on the block below the intake manifold toward the drivers side of the engine. If your 89 Celebrity has the 2.8L V6 the ignition module is mounted on the block on the radiator side of the engine on the drivers side. Both are a bit of a pain to get to, but it is doable.
