July 26, 2009 The 1854 Seated Liberty half dime was produced at 2 US Mint facilities; Philadelphia and New Orleans. To obtain the proper value for your coin, it must be determined at which mint it was struck. This is done by finding the mint mark which is located on the reverse [tails] side of the coin beneath the word "DIME". The letter "O" indicates the coin was minted at New Orleans and is represented as 1854-O. If there is no letter, that indicates the coin was minted at Philadelphia and is represented in this answer as 1854-P. The values for these coins can be seen in the chart given below. Circulated Grades......1854-P..........1854-O G4................................$22...............$25 F12...............................$29...............$40 EF40.............................$72...............$110 AU55.............................$150.............$225 Uncirculated GradesMS60.............................$215..............$290 MS63.............................$330..............$815 MS64.............................$750..............$1,600 MS65.............................$1,900...........$4,200 MS66.............................$5,500...........$9,000 MS67.............................$20,000.........$25,000

What is the value of a 1854 liberty seated dime with o mint and arrows?

Assuming the coin is circulated, the 1854-O Liberty Seated Dime is not rare, but it is a lower mintage coin that is a little harder to find. For an accurate assessment of value the coin needs to be seen and graded. Most coins of this type have seen heavy use and show a lot of wear. In general retail values for low grade coins are $12.00-$20.00, better grade are $25.00-$90.00 and coins showing almost no wear run from $150.00-$320.00. Values are a market average and only for coins in collectible condition, coins that are bent, corroded, scratched, used as jewelery or have been cleaned have far less value if any to a collector or dealer.

What is the value of an 1854 US silver Dollar?

1854 is one of the scarcer dates for Seated Liberty halves. Numismedia lists the following approximate retail values as of 02/2014: Very worn condition - $1,160 Moderately worn - $1,970 Slightly worn - $2,810 Almost no wear - $6,350 Uncirculated - $8,750 to $110,630 depending on quality DISCLAIMER: The retail values quoted are the best available as of the date shown, but may vary significantly due to changes in the precious metals market. Also the wholesale (buying) price of a coin will be less than the selling (retail) price. A reputable coin dealer will be able to give a more accurate valuation based on inspection of the coin. The 1854 silver dollar is in the Seated Liberty coin series and considered quite rare. Though current value depends on the grade and condition of the coin, these relics may sell for anywhere between $800 to over $9,000 for coins in the best condition.
