This question comes up fairly often and is a common misunderstanding. What you almost certainly have is a HALF dollar (check the back!!) that carries the same front-side design as modern 1 oz bullion coins issued since 1986.
Those half dollar coins are called Walking Liberty halves and they don't contain 1 oz of silver. They were ordinary circulation coins meant for spending. There's more information at the Related Question.

Possibly anywhere from a dollar to 10 dollars.
The value depends on condition and mint mark. One with no mint mark has a value range of at least $14 and upwards of around $130. A 1920-S has a similar price range. Then a '20-D starts at about $30 and goes above $300.
