That spelling is found on EVERY Peace dollar, so it's not a mistake. 1923 is a common date, currently worth just under $20 for the silver, and possibly a bit more if it's in good condition.

It's the word TRUST spelled with a 'V' because the Latin alphabet does not have a 'U' in it. All Peace dollars have this spelling and so do Standing Liberty Quarters.

Please look at the coin again, the date of 1888 is a Morgan dollar and can not have trust spelled with a "V" that's only on Peace dollars which were first struck in 1921. And the motto is IN GOD WE TRUST not YOU!!. Please post new question with accurate information.

The word trust is not misspelled. The Peace dollar and the standing liberty quarter both use the Latin spelling of trust as TRVST. 1925 is a common date for the peace dollar, and unless in uncirculated condition, it is worth anywhere from $25-35.
