New Zealand did not issue any banknotes until 1934. Banknotes issued prior to 1934 were issued by various private banks.

Depending on the Bank of issue and the condition of the note, a 1934 One Pound note in "Very Good" condition could fetch anything from $425 to $1,500 NZD.

A reputable coin dealer will be able to give a more accurate valuation based on identification and inspection of the banknote.
