The face value usually starts off at $15 because of the rarity of the coin. Depending on the condition of it, it markets up to a value of $450. Uncirculated it can be a little more.
Between $2 and $60. In the future, please include the condition of the coin so I can value it more precisely for you.
Any quarter from before 1968 was made with silver. Generally, unless your coin is in mint condition, your coin will be worth the current value of silver.
1949 is a special year for Canadian dollars because it was a Newfoundland commemorative dollar. There were a surprisingly small amount of them made, BUT there are still alot available. I see them sell anywhere from $10.00 to $200.00 depending on condition. Hope this helps, www.cointalk.com

Nickel is a metal... and it does NOT have dots... it loses electrons.
Dot Fulghum died November 2, 1947, in Miami, FL, USA.
the second dot adds one quarter of its value
A first dot adds one half the duration of the given note. A second dot adds one quarter of the given note (or one half the value contributed by the first dot). A third dot adds one eighth of the value of the given note (or one half the value contributed by the second dot).
The mint mark of a 1910 Liberty Head Nickel will be on the obverse just under the dot on the lower left. Look at the big V. Down and to the left there's a dot (there's also one on the other side). The mint mark (if there is one) is between the dot and the edge.
The value of a 1968 Estados Unidos Mexicanos veinticinco centavos coin with the marking of an "M" with a dot over it and a picture of an eagle battling a snake would depend on its condition and rarity. However, generally, these coins are not considered to have significant monetary value and are mainly sought after by coin collectors for their historical and cultural significance.
