What is the value of a 1954 1 Deutsche Mark coin?
It depends on its mint mark. In average condition:
1954 D or F - about $2.50
1954 G - about $9 It depends on the mintmark (found beneath the tail of the eagle) and the condition of the coin. Values are published, but I would take them with a grain of salt. Keep in mind also that it is very difficult to judge the condition of this particular coin, especially at the higher quality levels. According to the 2009 edition of the Standard Catalog of World Coins, the One Deutsche Mark coin (KM#110) issued in 1954 is worth: D mintmark (Munich mint): US$2 in Fine, $8 in Very Fine, $100 in Extremely Fine and $425 in Uncirculated condition F mintmark (Stuttgart mint): US$2.50 in Fine, $10 in Very Fine, $200 in Extremely Fine and $650 in Uncirculated condition G mintmark (Karlsruhe mint): US$4 in Fine, $25 in Very Fine, $450 in Extremely Fine and $1,900 in Uncirculated condition J mintmark (Hamburg mint): US$1.50 in Fine, $7 in Very Fine, $55 in Extremely Fine and $400 in Uncirculated condition
