∙ 12y agoThese were struck in huge numbers in cupro-nickel (an alloy of copper and nickel) to celebrate the queen's 25th anniversary on the throne. They are worth 25p but can sell for up to 75p - £1 each. The .925 sterling silver examples (normally in a plush box) can sell for £20 each only due to their scrap silver content.
