∙ 15y agoCould you check the date again? By April 1923 hyperinflation had reached such a point that 500 Reichsmarks was effectively worthless, and most bills were in much larger denominations.
In any case Weimar-era hyperinflation currency was printed in such enormous quantities that it has little value to collectors. www.sammler.com, a major German collectibles site, lists the majority bills at under $15, and many of those less than $5.
