Marlin did not make a model 1893 in .25-35 cal. The Marlin 1893 was chambered for the .25-36 Marlin caliber. Values depend on many things, including condition, and special order features. Without this info, a price can not be determined. According to data from Cartridges of the World, The 25-35 cartridge can be fired in a rifle chambered for the 25-36 Marlin, but with the warning that many rifles chambered for the 25-36 are not strong enough to withstand the maximum load and all factory 25-35 loads exceed the 2000 FPS MV suggested for the 25-36. I think a Marlin 1893 should to be able to handle it but check with a gunsmith first. I believe the Marlin Model 1893 comes in multiple calibers I own a Marlin Model 1893 in a 38-55 that has the words special smokeless steel, I believe the round can be loaded with smokeless powder that equals the pressures of 55 grains of black powder. I paid $400 for my Marlin it retains about 90% of the bluing am not sure if that is an average price but may be a starting point. Hope this is of some help 9393 (hammerhead)
Roughly 1900. Since Marlin mixed serial numbers between models on the early levers it can be hard to pin down exactly. As to caliber, look on the top flat of the barrel. sales@countrygunsmith.net
if the rifle was manufactured in 1894 it would be black powder.

No, the Marlin Model 80 bolt action rimfire rifles were a very common produced rifle during the mid 20th century.
Sereal numbe F25405 336 a 32 special , how can I find retail and wholesale value ?
Your Marlin model 336 in the condition that you describe will bring between 300-375 dollars.
That would be a model 1889.
You will have to use a FFL.
Serial numbers were required per a 1968 firearms act. Marlin .22's produced prior to this were not required to have serial numbers stamped on the weapon and marlin decided it was not productive to do so. Although they did stamp some earlier models they discontinued the practice. My Marlin model 56 made in 1960 also has no serial number.
The Marlin firearms Co.made the Model 27 slide action rifle in 25-20WCF from 1910-1911.It had a 2/3 tube magazine,7shot,24in octagon barrel with open sights, and a plain straight grip stock. It also made the Model 27S which had a safety button on the right hand side of the receiver in either round or octagon barrel.this was made in the year 1913.I hope that this helps.
