Just scrap silver. The coin is defaced beyond any collector value, so if you took it into a coin store they would just pay you silver scrap for it (it varies depending on how much silver is lost from the transition). Your best hope is to sell it as jewellery or an antique because you'd get most likely around $10 or less from a coin dealer.

What is the most popular shape for a diamond pendant necklace?

Determining the most popular shape for a diamond pendant necklace can be subjective and may vary based on personal preferences, fashion trends, cultural influences, and other factors. However, several diamond shapes have consistently remained popular choices for pendant necklaces due to their versatility, elegance, and timeless appeal. Round Cut: The round brilliant cut is perhaps the most classic and popular shape for diamond pendant necklaces. Its symmetrical shape and excellent light reflection properties make it a favorite among many jewelry enthusiasts. Round diamonds are known for their brilliance and sparkle, making them an ideal choice for showcasing in a pendant setting. Princess Cut: The princess cut is another highly sought-after shape for diamond pendant necklaces. Known for its square or rectangular shape with pointed corners, the princess cut combines modern aesthetics with timeless elegance. It offers a contemporary yet versatile look that complements various styles and occasions. Heart Shape: The heart-shaped diamond pendant necklace holds romantic symbolism, making it a popular choice for gifts, especially on occasions like Valentine's Day or anniversaries. The heart shape symbolizes love and affection, making it a meaningful and sentimental choice for many wearers. Pear Shape: Also known as teardrop shape, the pear-shaped diamond pendant necklace offers a unique and elegant appearance. Its combination of a rounded bottom and a tapered point creates a graceful silhouette that adds a touch of sophistication to any outfit. Pear-shaped diamonds are versatile and can be worn for both formal and casual occasions. Oval Cut: Oval-shaped diamonds are favored for their elongated shape, which can create the illusion of longer, slender fingers when worn as a pendant necklace. They offer a classic yet distinctive look that exudes elegance and sophistication. Emerald Cut: The emerald cut features a rectangular shape with trimmed corners and step-cut facets, emphasizing clarity and showcasing the diamond's natural beauty. While less common for pendant necklaces compared to engagement rings, emerald-cut diamonds can make a striking statement piece when set in a pendant. Ultimately, the most popular shape for a diamond pendant necklace may vary depending on individual preferences, trends, and cultural influences. Some may prefer classic and timeless shapes like round or princess cuts, while others may opt for more unique and symbolic shapes such as hearts or pears. Regardless of the shape chosen, diamond pendant necklaces serve as elegant accessories that add sparkle and sophistication to any ensemble.

How do you tell if a silver dollar is a morgen dollar?

The correct name for this coin is "Morgan dollar" (note the spelling - A's, not E's) after its designer George Morgan. The image is of course the head of Lady Liberty rather than Mr. Morgan! The Morgan design was minted from 1878 to 1904, and then again in 1921. It's characterized by a portrait of Miss Liberty facing left, while the back has an eagle with outstretched wings and holding arrows and an olive branch in its claws. There's a picture of an 1879 Morgan dollar at the Related Link.1921 was a so-called transitional year for dollars. When the denomination was revived that year the new Peace design wasn't ready in time so the Morgan design was struck for the first 11 months of the year. A small run of Peace dollars was made in December, at which time the Morgan design was discontinued. The Peace design was then exclusively used until 1935.

How to Add a Chic, Modern Touch to Your Home with Pendant Lights?

Pendant lights are beautiful accessories to any room. They have a distinct modern design that can be as daring and avant-garde as you want, or as subtle and subdued as you may want. But their unique look is a great way to add some flair to your surroundings. Pendant lights are also easy for anyone to install. This guide will tell you the steps to take to figure out which ones to buy and where to place them. Before you go shopping for pendant lights, you should first know the color scheme you are looking to match or complement. Spend time in the room you want to place your pendant light and think of the styles you imagine would work there. Think about the feel you want the room to have. If the room you want to accessorize has a modern design, there are a plethora of pendant light designs for you to consider. If, however, the room in question has more of a classic look, try going with a plain pendant light, especially one that doesn’t have a splashy design or is all one color, so that it doesn’t detract from the room’s ambience. Think about how much light the room needs in order to be properly illuminated, and plan accordingly. Next, choose a pendant light that matches what you are looking for. Make sure the pendant light or lights you are looking at purchasing will be able to provide the same amount of light that your old light fixtures did. Before you install your pendant light or pendant lights, consider where you would like to display it. If you have several pendant identical pendant lights, it makes sense to place these in a centrally located place suspended over a large object in the middle of a room, such as a dining room table or an island in the kitchen. However, if you just have one pendant light, it might look better suspended over a less central object, such as a living room chair or a desk in a bedroom. Lastly, install your pendant light in your preferred location, either by hand or with the help of a professional, and enjoy your chic new household accessory.
